Beachfront hotel — Enhancing comfort with a modern upgrade
To further elevate the resort's appearance and guest experience, the existing wooden-framed glass windows are being upgraded to modern PVC windows. While the wooden windows have added natural charm over the years, constant exposure to coastal weather and humidity has caused natural aging and increased maintenance needs.

Rather than opting for traditional wooden windows, the owner chose modern PVC windows across all five villas on his family land — a forward-thinking decision aimed at giving his big family, and the generations to come, homes that are more secure, durable and low-maintenance. The white PVC profiles resist Zanzibar's humidity and salt air, won't warp, rot or fade like timber, and the multi-point locking sliding sashes add an extra layer of everyday security. The smaller window is fitted to the toilet — sized for proper ventilation and airflow while keeping a clean, aesthetically pleasing look that ties in with the rest of the façade. Family Resthouse on a Cliff Overlooking the Beach
Even while building their lives in Kenya, the owners always knew they wanted a place to come home to — a haven of their own perched on a cliff above the Jozani–Chwaka Bay coastline. They chose warm wood-tone PVC sliding doors and full-height glazing to frame the ocean from every main living space, bringing the sound of the sea and tropical breeze right into the home. The brown PVC profiles were picked for their durability against salt air, low maintenance and timeless look that blends with the surrounding bush and beach. When the family isn't in residence, the resthouse will welcome guests as a high-end Airbnb — giving travellers a serene, well-built stay that mirrors the same comfort the owners come back to whenever they return home.

Ventilation Window System
Narrow single-column casement windows in PVC with aluminum frames and horizontal louvered slats — built for constant airflow in bathrooms, garages and service shafts while keeping privacy intact. The slats also discreetly conceal exposed pipes, wiring and other service connections that aren't meant for display, turning raw utility recesses into clean architectural details. Rust-free, low-maintenance and quietly elegant.
